Sorry for the long delay between posts, we’ve been dealing with computer adversity… We still have about 25 spaces available in the summer veggie CSA, and the veggies are growing fast. This week there is no pick-up, and then tuesday the 11th of May is the first summer share pick-up, 4-6 p.m. at the farm. The potluck was a rip-roaring success, with about 150 people, lots of kids, and great food. The kids loved petting the pig, checking out the goats and chickens, and generally having a grand time on the farm. The adults enjoyed the great company, great food, and big bonfire. The rain held off, and despite some very ominous appearing clouds, there were only a few sprinkles for the whole evening. Thank you to all who came out to check out the farm, sign up for their workshare time, and pay their balance. If you weren’t able to be there, we will have the workshare list available by mid-week, with spots available, for you to sign up. We are looking forward to a great season, and it’s off to a wonderful beginning.
