Going to market

We’ll be at market Friday and Saturday.   We’ve got chicken running out of our ears; about 85 in the cooler right now, plus about 100 in the freezer.  Time to get serious about selling chicken. So tomorrow, if you want chicken, lettuce, dill, or some other sundry veggies which we have lots of, we’ll be at the Eastland Farmers Market from 10a.m. to 6p.m.  Eastland Market is east of Glenstone on St. Louis Street (neat new market, with great aspirations, and a good beginning; we hope it succeeds as the idea is to have a year-round farmers market with indoor stalls, etc.) Saturday morning will find us braving the Greater Springfield Farmers Market, on the corner of Battlefield and Glenstone.  This is the big show, sort of a pain to prepare for, but always a big seller.   So, if you want chicken, or just want to check out the markets this year, come see us at market.
