Information for the 2011 Summer CSA

Summer Work Day 2010

We’ve now posted sign-up info for the Summer 2011 CSA.  We’re excited about the upcoming growing season, and are already ordering seeds, starting plants, and finalizing summer plans.  Changes to look for this year are more consistent tomatoes, more melons and cucumbers, and as always, a few surprises.  We’ve spent the winter months researching, studying, attending conferences, recruiting apprentices and interns, renovating greenhouses, revising planting schedules, and all the other things that go in to a successful season.  Enjoy the fruits of our labor. We are offering a half share option for the first time this summer. We have a new program to help us streamline correspondence, as you sign up you will be directed to our new member assembler. You can pay for your CSA share via paypal as part of this process. You will have the option to save 10% by paying in full up front. With the member assembler we look forward to having more time to focus on getting the best veggies to our members and spending less time on paperwork.  We hope you find it easier as well.  With the goal of providing you with the best season yet, Curtis has turned his meat production over to Ozark Natural Meats.  Curtis’ attention will be solely on veggies for the first time, and he is excited to reap the benefits for you.  Please note that you need to  sign up for your veggie share and meat shares separately.   You will be directed to Ozark Natural Meats site for meat, and the Millsap Farm Site for the rest of the shares.  Please let us know if you have any questions, call Curtis 839-0847. Go to ,  “join summer 2011 CSA” to sign up.
