Yesterday we moved two of the high tunnel to field five. Our high tunnels are 12 x 32 and involve a bit of maneuvering to get them moved. This spring has been much colder then the ones in the past and we have even had frost these past two nights. This is a few weeks after what typically happens in the ozarks, our frost free date is May 1st which means usually that there is no chance of frost after that date. Well not so this year, we have had rain and cold, but then extreme seasonal warmth. So it is a interesting year to be farming. We are hoping to get these high tunnels planted and growing, to help protect from some of the difficult weather.
