Today promises to be another amazing March day. We’ve been hard at work this week getting the tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, and cucumbers planted in the high tunnel, repairing some damage to the greenhouse at Pleasant View school the elementary where I teach kids to garden one morning a week, and attending a food safety workshop put on by the MU extension and Missouri Department of Health. All in all a very full and rewarding week; the rain was perfect, and now we are back into much higher than normal temps, which has us headed for record early harvests. In todays harvest, we’ll have the following;
Yukon Gold Potatoes; we’re out of our crop for the season, but we’ve acquired some organic potatoes from my sister at Homegrown Food.
