- Our lives were spared today, and I am weep with gratitude. Spent the morning dropping my dad back off at the ER due to another UTI, so incredibly frustrating dealing with the ER right now when you can’t be near your loved one and represent for them when they are delirious! Only an hour later traveling across town with three kids south downhill on Glenstone stopped at Trafficway. I was joking about how the water tower looks like Oscar the grouch with the kids and looked in my rearview mirror to see the reaction but instead I saw a fully loaded semi truck barreling towards us swerving slamming on his brakes but unable to stop. The kids lives flash before my eyes. I did all I could vear left but there was oncoming traffic. I watched as the semi truck swerved right around us unable to stop due to momentum until his bumper was at the front of my car. I have no doubt we were spared incredible and unspeakable loss. And for that I am so grateful to the lord who gives and takes away. Today we were given another day. Remember to today is a gift. Won’t you join me in praising the Lord? -SarahWoodshed totally stacked full because of these gentlemen and Marlyn! What a tremendously amazing feat. Depending on the winter this should last us a year to a year and a half. We use wood fires to keep our greenhouses warm our shop warm and our house warm.
